Student Feedback
Here is what our students say

Isabella
From "tak for mad" and "godnat" to having a conversation and enjoying speaking the language
"My daughter Isabella who is 9 years old, joined Brain Biscuit back in January 2022 and the only words she used then was “tak for mad” and “godnat".
After the first month she showed interest in trying to use the language and construct sentences without me forcing her to do so. After a year she really enjoys speaking Danish and she have a conversation in Danish – still expanding her vocabulary. She really enjoys her Danish class every week and there is a good dynamic in the small group with few students."

Anton & Jordan
The small groups have helped them get confident with the language and expanded their vocabulary
"Anton (8) and Jordan (6) – half Danish/half Italian – have improved their Danish within the past year from ”not want to respond” to have “long conversations” with their mother.
Thanks to the Danish classes and the collaboration I have had with Brain Biscuit, my sons are very motivated to join their weekly classes. The small groups have helped them get confident with the language and expanded their vocabulary.
I am beyond grateful that my sons have Danish class every week."

Ocean
The most important thing is the knowledge of the Danish culture Joan is teaching her
"We love Joan and her Danish lessons. Even that Ocean still needs to improve her vocabulary (she started with very little vocabulary) she now makes sentences, and her pronunciation has improved drastically because she is reading in class, and she has improved her spelling too. The most important thing is the knowledge of the Danish culture Joan is teaching her. In class they talk about all the Danish holidays such as “Fastelavn”, Easter, Christmas, etc.
I can highly recommend Joan; she is amazing with children, and we can see how much passion she has for teaching. We will continue to join her classes for many years to come. Thanks Joan!"

Nikki
She always loves her lessons and comes away having learned new things whether it is words, sentence construction, numbers etc.
"Joan has helped Nikki so incredibly much with maintaining and improving her Danish. Having never lived in Denmark, Nikki has only learned Danish from me and from visiting Denmark / having family and friends visiting us here in Sydney, but especially during covid that got incredibly difficult.
Having her weekly Danish tutor lessons has kept Nikki’s Danish strong but importantly has improved and kept developing both her spoken, written, and reading Danish so much. She always loves her lessons and comes away having learned new things whether it is words, sentence construction, numbers etc."

Mother Signe
Brain Biscuit was founded in response to teaching methods in some countries that focused heavily on memorization and lacked creativity. Students often felt unmotivated and disengaged - hesitant to truly learn. That is why Brain Biscuit developed a method that inspires curiosity, builds confidence, and makes learning both effective and enjoyable.
